California: Proposed Specific Regulatory Levels: Chloroform

The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) has proposed the adoption of a Proposition 65 Maximum Allowable Dose Level (MADL) of 660 micrograms per day for inhalation exposures to Chloroform (CASRN 67-66-3) by amending Section 25805(b). Chloroform is listed on Prop 65 as a chemical causing reproductive toxicity.

Any written comments concerning this proposed action, regardless of the form or method of transmission, must be received by OEHHA by July 2, 2012, which is the close of the comment period. All comments received will be posted on the OEHHA website after public comment period has closed.
